There's a good argument to be made that Toc are one of the best bands on the planet.
This is a bewilderingly brilliant release; polyrhythmic, atonal, with melodic interplay bouncing around endlessly. It evolves, bends, blurs and distorts. It's exhilarating listening at every turn.
And when it cracks into gear; when everything finally, fleetingly locks into a groove, it thunders like a brakeless train, wheels airborne on a dangerous curve.
Toc are geniuses. And this is their best album yet.
